We arrived in Abilene, Texas about 5:00 PM and stopped for fuel. That's when I noticed the left front tire on the fiver had developed a tumor (big bubble on the sidewall).
The Lord was watching out for us, If that tire would have blown it probably would have damaged the fiver.
Again, we were blessed because we found a tire dealer close by that was still open. We were back on the road by 6:30.
We arrived at Weatherford and our campground after dark. It was too late to cook so we found a small cafe by the interstate. Great food! Cheryl tried fried green tomatoes for the first time and loved them.
Back to the campground and a well deserved sleep.
